Schwechat is a city south-east of Vienna known for the Vienna International Airport and Schwechater beer. It is also home to the refineries belonging to the Austrian national oil company OMV.
Schwechat is named after the river Schwechat, which flows through the center of town. The city subdivisions called Katastralgemeinde (Cadastre) are Kledering, Mannswörth, Rannersdorf and Schwechat.
Vienna International Airport, the headquarters of Austrian Airlines, and the headquarters of Niki are in the city of Schwechat. When Lauda Air was an independent airline, it had its corporate headquarters in Schwechat.
Schwechat is placed in region called lower Austria just 10 minutes away with car from Vienna. So that’s the reason why Schwechat is perfect place for hosting first Euro Draft tournament this year in June.

Multiversum
Multiversum is multifunctional hall which can hold a variety of sports and cultural events, various concerts, conferences and Trade shows. The complex is composed of two halls, VIP bar, restaurant, conference room and all this extends to over twenty-seven thousand square meters. The hall can accommodate about 2400 people. In 2009, Schlager founded the Werner Schlager Academy in Multiversum Schwechat, a training centre which is also home to clubs SVS Niederösterreich and SVS Ströck. Also lots of other sports clubs and associations found their home within Multiversum complex.
